The "sticks" add to the charm.
I have been knitting with Briggs and Little yarns for many years. The little sticks and assorted other pickies just remind me that the wool is the real deal and as close to being a natural product as you can get. We New Brunswickers are loyal to our local products, so I thought I would just add my comment. The finished items are always a delight.

great price if you don't mind plant fiber in your wool.
The Skater's waltz cardigan is my favorite sweater right now, I saw it and ordered two colors of yarn. After knitting the first one, I passed the other color on to a friend who likes felting - I spent about 20% of my knitting time removing sticks and prickly things from the yarn. But now that they are out, I enjoy my sweater! and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. And it was a well fitting, well designed pattern that I will knit again. PS my friend made me a beautiful bag from the other yarn.
