    Bought this yarn to do a nice man's cable scarf in the smoke colour. Am half done the scarf which is to be 6' long. This yarn is perfect - nice and light, with a nice loft, so not too bulky to wrap around the neck a couple times; also soft and not itchy - perfect next to the neck. Despite the dark colour of the yarn (subtly variegated - deep navy/charcoal-y grey black), the cables are showing up beautifully. It has a nice sheen to it as well. Am thinking of doing more scarves in this yarn. Would be great for doing a nice elegant lacy scarf. Rowan is always a bit pricey, but the finished product is always worth it. I like this yarn.
